Come out to Y57 Media's Music Social Night on Thursday May 8th at Ceili's Irish Pub, 670 Smithe Street.

This event brings together all walks of music life. We're inviting all musicians, bands, managers, friends, pals, boyfriends and girlfriends for a social evening of good company and great drinks!  We're treating this night as an homage to our amazingly talented musicians and radio guests. As a thank you for coming by our show, we wanted to create a night for you to network, bond and relax in the company of other equally awesome individuals.

Station Re-Location 2014

WE ARE RE-LOCATING OUR STATION!

Our station has been located in BC Housing’s Sunrise Hotel Building at Hastings and Columbia since 2001.  BC Housing is renovating the building for the residents and have asked us to re-locate during the 18-month construction period.  We’re excited about the improvements to the building’s safety and long-term operations.  And, we also need to keep broadcasting during the renovations.

For the past 12 years, Co-op Radio has been proudly broadcasting from its location in the Downtown Eastside of Vancouver.  BC Housing is beginning an expansive renovation on the building and have told us we must vacate the premises for 18 months starting May 1st.

An immigrant Chinese couple attempts to come to terms with their son's death, and who he truly was, by inviting his Caucasian boyfriend over for dinner.

Performed in English and Cantonese with English and Chinese surtitles. ASL interpretation for 2 performances.

A world premiere produced by the frank theatre company and Vancouver Asian canadian Theatre. In partnership with The City of Richmond.

Co-op Radio at Gathering Our Voices 2014

Co-op Radio is a proud media sponsor of this year's Gathering Our Voices Aboriginal Youth Conference. Held from March 18-21 at the Hyatt Regency and Fairmont Hotel and hosted by the BC Association of Aboriginal Friendship Centres, the conference is expected to bring up to 2000 Aboriginal Youth to attend workshops and participate in cultural activities.

Visit our Outreach table at the Career and Education Fair on March 19th and March 20th to meet some of our First Nations programmers and find out how you can get involved with Co-op Radio!
