Unfortunately, Windows Media Player, the most common default player on many Windows computers, does not support .pls files, which is how our live stream is setup.  This is a common issue.

You may have to install a compatible player.  Once you have installed one of the players listed below, you can click on LISTEN again, and a box may pop up asking you which program to use to open the player.  Choose the program you installed and it should work.  In some cases, the new program may open the stream automatically.

VLC Player
VLC Player is free, volunteer run project.  It is great for audio and for listening to online radio, but it's also a very reliable video player.  It's easy to use and many people use it more than iTunes and Windows Media Player due it's flexibility with different types of file formats.

WINAMP
Another popular player, Winamp can also play .pls files that most online radio stations use.

iTUNES
Probably one of the most popular players, iTunes plays .pls files very easily and with no fuss.

Other options include QuickTime Player and Real Time Player.

2. How do I get the live stream to play on my iPhone or Android Phone?

You will require an app that plays internet radio stations.  There are many apps to choose from, we reccomend Radio Player Canada. http://radioplayer.ca/app/

3. When the Live Stream opens, it opens in NotePad*! Why?

(*NotePad, WordPad or another random program)

Two things could be happening here.

First, when you click the link, does a window open up asking you what program you want to open with?  If so, choose an appropriate program that works with our live stream setup (click here for more info).

If the window does not open up asking what you want to do, check to make sure that you do not have it set for audio files to open in whatever program is trying to open the stream as a default.  Try saving the file and open with VLC, iTunes, or Winamp.
