Calling all bicycle mechanics, nerds, enthusiasts, lovers, and people who don't know what a bicycle is!! We are excited to be part of Kickstand's Second Annual 24 Hour Build a Thon!
Kickstand will be challenging themselves to build 35 fully furnished, checked and ready to tag bicycles in 24 hours! And they are inviting you to come cheer them on! Volunteers, professional mechanics, casual mechanics, patrons of the shop and people with any amount of experience are welcome to join them. They are in need of people of all abilities to come help out as there's many things that go into building a bike. Never built a bike? No worries, come hang out and learn! No interest in building a bike? No matter, just come hang out :D
Co-op Radio will be providing the music for the whole 24 hours! Terrestrial FM and Roots Reggae will be broadcasting live! Enjoy a mix of hiphop, reggae, electronic dance music, live singer songwriters and whole lot of pizzazz!
