Join us for a special event presented by Vancouver Co-op Radio and the MAC (Media Arts Committee) Sound Art program on Wednesday January 10th 2018 at the station.
The event is an Open-House, public event to celebrate the completion of 7 sound art works by artists Bara Hladikova, George Rahi, Wendy Atkinson, Keith Wecker, Victoria Gibson, Daniel Rincon and Scott Gailey for a compilation entitled DEEP LISTENING, a reflection and tribute to the incredible work of noteable electroacoustic artist Pauline Oliveros.
Bring a friend and come by for station tours, artist talks, live on the radio interviews on the Soundscape show with the artists, and a chance to hear the final pieces as well as a welcoming event to our new home at 370 Columbia Street.
Co-op Radio and MAC moved back into this location in mid-July, and this is our first official housewarming party!
Entry is suggested $10-20 sliding scale (no-one will be turned away for lack of funds), which can also get you a Co-op Radio Membership!
Event starts at 6:30pm and ends at 10:30pm, show up anytime throughout the evening.
