Two hicks and a lady! That’s how Chris, Gary and Pam present themselves. Why this name? Because “we’re making fun of our own town. Vancouver people don’t like to cross bridges and they think we are hicks” Chris explained.
“It’s eclectic, we will play all kind of formats”
Since September, Co-op Radio is proud to present its new music show, which focus on local artists productions. A show created by these three music lovers who all play instruments. Guitar for Chris, and even mandolin for Pam. As the music they listen to, the two hicks and the lady want to promote all kind of songs. “It’s eclectic, we will play all kind of formats” Pam reported. The goal is to support local musicians and radio. “We try to take care of our own community music”. A radio show playing jazz, swing, blues, country… “It’s a kind of music festival format, it allows us to have everything we want”. If the show just started, the hosts already plan to invite local artists to play on live. “People from our own community, we cannot forget the part of Lower Mainland” Chris insisted.
